What you'll do
- Manage the daily operation of the housekeeping department.
- Maintain high cleanliness and tidiness standards in guest rooms and hotel public areas.
- Schedule staff shifts according to daily operations and hotel needs.
- Manage the department budget for personnel and material resources.
- Implement departmental SOPs in line with group regulations, hygiene and safety rules, and environmental requirements.
- Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and staff auxiliary areas.
- Schedule and monitor Turn Down Service activities.
- Guide and train staff to meet high quality standards.
- Manage staff performance evaluations and support employee recognition and development.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Front Office to record and resolve faults or damage.
- Manage departmental inventory and orders.
- Report guests’ lost or forgotten items promptly.
Key requirements
- 4+ years' experience
- Housekeeping department operations; hotel cleanliness and quality standards
- Staff scheduling; budget management; inventory and order management
- Hygiene and safety compliance; SOP implementation
- Staff training and development; performance evaluation
- Customer service; hotel maintenance coordination; Turn Down Service coordination
- MS Office; Protel; English language
- Tourism
