What you'll do
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations and cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas
- Lead and train housekeeping staff to uphold cleanliness and customer satisfaction standards
- Manage the department budget, take inventory, and maintain adequate cleaning-supply stock
- Document cleaned areas and report room damage or maintenance requests to the Front Office
- Ensure cleaning equipment is working properly and arrange repairs when needed
- Assign duties to housekeeping staff
- Address customer complaints efficiently and effectively
- Order housekeeping supplies
- Ensure efficient use of departmental resources
- Direct all housekeeping activities
