What you'll do
- Optimize Energy Storage Assets’ participation in Greek Day-Ahead, Intraday, and Balancing Markets.
- Design and enhance analytical tools, mathematical models, and optimization algorithms for daily market representation and trading.
- Analyze market dynamics, asset performance, and operational constraints to identify value creation and portfolio optimization opportunities.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor asset performance and support management decisions.
- Execute and monitor market activities, including the timely and accurate submission of bids.
- Collaborate with Asset Management, O&M, IT, and other stakeholders on optimization strategies.
- Improve optimization tools and develop methodologies and automated workflows for efficient, accurate, and reliable trading.
- Support continuous market representation through rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Energy storage market optimization and electricity market participation.
- Mathematical modelling, optimization techniques, quantitative analysis, and optimization algorithms.
- Python, Java, R, GAMS, or VBA.
- Analytical tools development and automated workflows.
- Performance monitoring and KPI reporting.
- Electricity market regulatory framework.
- Engineering / Applied Mathematics / Computer Science / Economics / Quantitative Fieldpreferred
