What you'll do
- Review customer requirements for conceptual, basic, and detail design of power plants and industrial facilities
- Prepare and review Process Flow Diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, system and functional descriptions, control diagrams, and I/O lists
- Prepare technical specifications and datasheets for control valves, rotating equipment, package plants, and instrumentation
- Coordinate with DCS, PLC, and ESD vendors to ensure correct system integration
- Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities
- Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and design review meetings
- Provide process input to procurement and construction teams
- Support site activities with flexibility
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- Knowledge of IEC, ISA, API, and ISO codes and standards
- Knowledge and experience in functional safety (IEC 61511)
- Familiarity with DCS and PLC-based control systems
- Reviewing Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
- Preparing Control Diagrams, System Descriptions, technical specifications, and datasheets
- Coordinate with DCS/PLC/ESD vendors and support FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities
- Participate in HAZOP and SIL review meetings

We are currently looking for an I&C Design Engineer to join our Design team in our offices in Athens.
You role you will encopass:

What you bring to the role:
Engineering Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of experience in a relevant position (power, oil & gas sector)
Excellent knowledge of the English language. Knowledge of other languages shall be considered an additional asset
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., IEC, ISA, API, ISO)
Knowledge and experience in the functional safety area (e.g., IEC 61511)
Familiarity with DCS, and PLC-based control systems
Familiarity with hazardous area classifications
Critical thinking & troubleshooting capability
