design engineer

Intellectica is recruiting a motivated Design Engineer on behalf of a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality pumps and systems, used in a large variety of water applications with exports to 100 countries. Based in Kryoneri, Attiki, the successful candidate will report to the Head of the Technical Department and will be responsible for generating intricate designs and conducting thorough studies for the company's custom products.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Creating and developing designs and studies for company products using CAD software and other design tools

• Close collaboration with the Head of the Technical Department to understand technical requirements and implement appropriate design solutions

• Collaboration with sales and production departments to ensure consistency and quality of deliverables

• Participation in technical training programs and training of new engineers and designers

• Any other work that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field; in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering) will be an advantage

• At least 1 year of experience in in product design and development roles will be a plus

• Familiarity with computer-aided design software (CAD), such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools

• Good knowledge of MS Office

• Fluency in Greek and English
