What you'll do
- Supervise equipment through onsite periodic inspections and collect operational data from local measuring instruments
- Operate mechanical equipment under the guidance of the Shift Engineer and Unit Operator
- Conduct scheduled and emergency inspections and functional tests
- Investigate malfunctions and propose improvements
- Ensure good equipment condition, record malfunctions, and monitor their repair
- Participate in work permit issuance and execute mechanical isolations under Unit Operator guidance
- Adhere to safety rules and use required personal protective equipment
Key requirements
- 1+ years' experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, Petroleum and Natural Gas Technology, or Merchant Marine Engineering
- License as Technician, Chief Technician, or Foreman Engineer in relevant specialties
- Experience in operation or maintenance of industrial facilities or ships
- Experience with Thermal Power Plants
- English technical terminology proficiency
- MS Office skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts (24/7)
- Technical problem-solving skills
- Adherence to work permit procedures
- Work safety knowledge and equipment supervision capability
- Mechanical Engineering / Energy Technology / Petroleum and Natural Gas Technology / Merchant Marine Engineeringpreferred
