Based in Athens, Greece, and reporting to the Development Manager, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of all restaurants, Head Office and Distribution Center facilities. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, vendor management, compliance with fire & life safety legislation, and the execution of the company’s maintenance and repair (M&R) plan across all locations, where frequent travel is required.
The successful candidate will monitor day‑to‑day facility operations, support locations with technical needs, and ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with McDonald’s standards, internal procedures, and legal requirements. This includes coordinating repairs, supervising technical vendors and contractors, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring that preventive maintenance schedules are consistently followed.
The Facilities Manager will also play a key role in developing and managing a reliable network of technicians, optimizing maintenance costs, and supporting minor construction or refurbishment projects. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role that requires strong organizational skills, technical understanding, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Operations, Development, and external partners.

THE REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, and has more than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong analytical and organizational skills and a can do attitude, are essential for success in this role.
Fluency in both Greek and English, proficiency with MS Office are a prerequisite. Knowledge of the Coswin platform will be strongly appreciated.
