This is an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical systems, ensuring the performance, security, and availability of enterprise databases in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

This role is fully on-site and offers the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams delivering innovative solutions for one of the country's leading financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise database environments.

  • Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning strategies.

  • Ensure high availability, reliability, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.

  • Manage database security, user access, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

  • Install, configure, patch, and upgrade database platforms.

  • Support application deployments and collaborate with development and infrastructure teams.

  • Perform capacity planning and proactively identify opportunities for system improvements.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and database standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Database Administrator in enterprise environments.

  • Strong experience administering relational database management systems such as OracleMicrosoft SQL ServerPostgreSQL, or similar platforms.

  • Hands-on experience with database backup, recovery, replication, high availability, and performance tuning.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database architecture principles.

  • Experience with database monitoring and automation tools.

  • Understanding of security best practices and access management.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate with both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

  • Relevant database certifications are considered an advantage.
