What you'll do
- Lead planning and execution of all MEP services for Residential and mixed-use projects
- Ensure Employer's requirements are met and systems are safely integrated, code compliant, and commissioned
- Maintain MEP design intent and performance criteria through construction
- Review and approve MEP design drawings, calculations, technical submissions, shop drawings, material samples, certificates of compliance
- Provide technical responses to Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Provide constructability, value engineering, and cost feedback during design and construction
- Attend design review, progress, interface, risk management, construction, and testing and commissioning meetings as MEP SME
- Review project scope, specifications, ITPs, drawings, material submittals, and method statements during construction
- Assist in problem solving and resolution of MEP issues in design and construction
- Assist in pre-development budgeting and project time scheduling
- Assist in preparation and execution of MEP design and construction contracts
- Manage and administer contracts with appointed MEP contractors and subcontractors
- Interview and qualify Contractor and Vendor candidates for project needs
Key requirements
- 15+ years' experience
- MEP services and design intent knowledge
- Review and approval of MEP design drawings and technical submissions
- Technical responses to RFIs and constructability/value engineering skills
- Cost feedback during design and construction phases
- Project scheduling, budgeting, and contract management
- Interviewing and qualifying contractors and vendors
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
- Mechanical and Electrical Engineering background
- English language proficiency
- Knowledge of Greek Building Regulations, Euro-codes, American and British Standards
- Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering
