What you'll do
- Clean and tidy hotel areas to required standards within set time limits
- Clean rooms, corridors, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas
- Create daily task lists and record serviced rooms
- Report shortages, damage and security issues
- Maintain equipment in good condition
- Polish silver accessories, fixtures and other metalwork
- Replenish glasses, linens, writing supplies, bathroom items and other consumables
- Check stock levels of consumable supplies
- Follow health and safety regulations, company policies and licensing laws
- Protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft and found items
- Handle guest complaints and requests, informing colleagues when needed
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Hotel room and area cleaning; Housekeeping standards
- Time management; Inventory and supply replenishment
- Equipment maintenance; Silver and metalwork polishing
- Health and safety compliance; Property protection and security awareness
- Incident reporting; Guest complaint handling
- General Studiespreferred
