About the job
As part of our strategy, KPMG in Greece proudly announces the opportunity to become a key member of our Deal Advisory Team. Due to continued and rapid growth of operations, we are seeking to recruit an Assistant Manager within our Deal Advisory practice for our M&A team.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of projects, be part of a cross-functional team and manage / execute day to day activities efficiently.
Execute market leading and high-profile engagements from initial planning to closing.
Drive the preparation and presentation of demanding and complex deliverables.
Work alongside with multi-disciplinary team members on an effective and timely manner.
Cooperate with various departments and participate in several projects where data analysis, modeling and/or reporting is required.
Being actively involved in the business development initiatives by supporting the mapping of potential opportunities/ new target clients as well as the pitching process
Candidate Profile
Strong academic background (BSc and MSc) in Corporate Finance, Banking and Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related discipline.
CFA qualification or comparable equivalent would be considered as a plus.
More than 2-3 years of working experience in M&A teams /investment banking environment.
Advanced knowledge of Excel/ Powerpoint and other data analysis/ visualization applications
Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude and ability to develop innovative ideas.
Excellent business writing/ oral communication and presentation skills, both in Greek and English.
Strong research and data analytics capabilities.
