What you'll do
- Design, build, test, and deliver high-quality software solutions for electronic trading systems
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions
- Build and maintain low-latency, high-throughput services focusing on performance and reliability
- Integrate services with internal and external systems ensuring robust error handling
- Own production outcomes including on-call support, incident triage, and root-cause analysis
- Improve engineering standards via code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and continuous refactoring
- Identify recurring issues and translate insights into improvements in system stability and developer productivity
- Contribute to team culture and engage in communities to adopt emerging technologies
Key requirements
- Strong Java and Spring coding skills with solid fundamentals
- Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean code practices
- Proven experience in system design, application development, testing, and production support
- Experience with FIX protocol and low-latency/high-throughput systems
