What you'll do
- Oversee the group’s financial management and monitor financial performance
- Run and coordinate the annual budgeting process and track budget vs actuals
- Maintain forecasts and oversee cash flow and liquidity position
- Develop management reports, financial analysis, KPIs, and basic financial models
- Produce and review financial statements ensuring accuracy across the group
- Oversee monthly and annual closing processes meeting deadlines
- Ensure adherence to Greek GAAP, tax, and statutory requirements
- Handle bank relationships and day-to-day communication and reporting
- Monitor receivables and credit exposure and support collections
- Support cost tracking, pricing, and margin follow-up with commercial teams
- Partner with operations to monitor production costs and efficiency
- Act as contact point for external auditors and support audit processes
- Liaise with financial advisors on financial-related matters
- Ensure internal financial procedures and controls are followed
- Contribute to improvements in reporting tools, systems, and internal processes
- Lead and develop the finance team providing guidance and support

Based in Aspropyrgos, Attiki, this role offers the opportunity to work directly with the General Manager, overseeing the group’s financial activities, supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting and control.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
Overall responsibility for the Group’s financial management and monitoring of financial performance
Run and coordinate the annual budgeting process, including tracking budget vs actuals and explaining deviations
Maintain forecasts and oversee cash flow and liquidity position
Develop management reports, financial analysis and KPIs, including basic financial models
Produce and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the Group
Oversee the monthly and annual closing process, ensuring deadlines are met
Ensure adherence to Greek GAAP, tax and statutory requirements
Handle bank relationships, including day-to-day communication and reporting
Monitor receivables and credit exposure, supporting collections where needed
Support commercial teams on cost tracking, pricing and margin follow-up
Partner with operations to monitor production costs and overall efficiency
Act as contact point for external auditors, supporting audit processes
Liaise with financial advisors on financial-related matters
Ensure internal financial procedures and controls are followed
Contribute to improvements in reporting tools, systems and internal processes
Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance and ongoing support

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MSc degree in Finance, MBA, or relevant qualifications (ACCA, CFA, CPA) are preferred
At least 8 years of experience in financial controlling or related roles
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment will be considered a strong advantage
Proven experience working in financial reporting and budgeting processes
Good knowledge of Greek GAAP and tax requirements
Familiarity with ERP systems
Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
Fluency in Greek and English (both written and verbal)
