Intellectica is recruiting a Data & AI Insights Analyst on behalf of a leading pharmaceutical organization with a strong international footprint and a long-standing track record in innovation, research, and development. Based in Athens, Greece, the successful candidate will report directly to the Business Development & Portfolio Manager and will play a key role in enabling data‑driven decision-making, developing predictive analytics, and supporting the gradual transition of AI capabilities from external partners to an in‑house model.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
Play a key role in driving data- and AI-powered decision-making within a growing, internationally active business environment
Act as a consultative partner on AI-related initiatives, proactively identifying opportunities, proposing use cases, and contributing ideas for the adoption and optimization of AI solutions across the department
Partner with stakeholders to analyze business cases and translate data into clear, actionable insights
Conduct market and geographical analyses using statistical and external datasets, identifying trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities
Support strategic decisions on market expansion, investment priorities, and portfolio development through data-driven recommendations
Perform historical and exploratory analyses to assess market potential and business viability
Leverage and evaluate AI tools to enhance analytics capabilities and business outcomes
Develop and support predictive models and forecasting approaches, exploring solutions for complex business prediction challenges
Structure and optimize data for analytics, supporting the transition to in-house AI capabilities and the development of internal AI-driven applications and solutions
Prepare and deliver clear, insightful presentations of data and analytical findings to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making; translate complex analytical outputs into business-friendly narratives tailored to non-technical stakeholders
Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, Engineering or related field; a Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. AI, Data Science, Analytics, Economics, Statistics)
Up to 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, or Business/Commercial Analytics, with proven exposure to data-driven decision-making
Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry will be considered a strong plus
Proficiency in Excel; solid understanding of statistical analysis and data analytics methodologies
Experience working with large and complex datasets, as well as data visualization tools will be considered an asset
Strong familiarity with modern AI tools and a genuine interest in exploring and applying emerging AI technologies in practice
Basic understanding of business strategy, market dynamics, and financial concepts will be considered an advantage
Familiarity with predictive analytics and forecasting techniques is considered a strong plus
Fluent in Greek and English (written and verbal), with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
