What you'll do
- Record day-to-day accounting entries in the ERP system with accuracy
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor banking transactions regularly
- Support invoicing by issuing and checking invoices as required
- Communicate with customers and suppliers on accounting matters
- Collaborate with the external accounting firm providing information and documents
- Maintain organized physical and electronic filing of accounting records
- Assist the Accounting Supervisor with daily operations and periodic tasks
- Perform any additional accounting tasks as required

- 1+ years' experience
- Accounting entries, invoicing and bank reconciliations
- ERP systems including SoftOne and Galaxy
- MS Office, specifically Excel
- Analytical mindset and detail-oriented approach

Intellectica is recruiting an Accounting Assistant on behalf of its client, a well-established industrial company operating in the manufacturing sector, specialising in wooden pallet production and packaging solutions. The company has built a strong presence in its field, combining long-standing experience with a focus on operational efficiency and steady growth. Based in Aspropyrgos, Attiki, this role reports to the Accounting Supervisor and works closely with the company's external accounting firm, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the accounting department
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
Recording day-to-day accounting entries in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the company's books
Performing bank reconciliations and monitoring banking transactions on a regular basis
Supporting the invoicing process, issuing and checking invoices as required
Communicating with customers and suppliers on accounting-related matters, such as balances, payments and documentation
Collaborating with the company's external accounting firm, providing information and supporting documentation as needed
Maintaining organised physical and electronic filing of accounting records and supporting documents
Assisting the Accounting Supervisor with the department's daily operations and periodic tasks
Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
1-3 years of experience in an accounting department or accounting firm; experience in a commercial or industrial environment will be considered an advantage
Hands-on experience with accounting entries, invoicing and bank reconciliations
Familiarity with ERP systems; knowledge of SoftOne and/or Galaxy will be considered a strong advantage
Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
Fluency in Greek and English (both written and verbal)
