The role in more detail:
The Supervisor/Manager in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) will play a crucial role in supporting our senior dealmakers across all phases of the transaction process. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile deals, providing strategic advice and comprehensive financial analyses to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in financial modelling, market research, and strategic planning, coupled with a proven ability to manage and develop junior team members.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Collaborate with senior dealmakers throughout all phases of the transaction process, including origination, drafting of deal structure and material, negotiation, and closure.
Conduct in-depth company, industry, and market research to identify and evaluate potential deal opportunities.
Develop comprehensive business plans, financial models, and valuations to support transaction rationale and pricing strategies.
Prepare and draft engaging pitch and marketing materials, such as teasers and information memorandums, to effectively communicate value propositions to potential buyers or investors.
Serve as a strategic M&A advisor to clients, assisting them in formulating and executing their strategic plans and achieving their long-term objectives.
Actively contribute to the development and presentation of proposals, providing insightful advice to both current and prospective clients.
Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members, fostering an environment of learning and professional growth.
The key requirements of this role are:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA) is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in Deals, Corporate Finance, M&A, investment banking, private equity, or related financial advisory services.
Strong proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring.
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and build relationships with clients and colleagues.
Leadership experience and a commitment to developing junior team members.
Effective communication and rapport building skills.
Ability to develop and deliver high quality services and solutions.
An extremely high work ethic.
