Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Contribute to the development, implementation, and refinement of Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF), policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations (e.g., Basel III, CRR/CRD IV/V, etc.).</li><li>Oversee and enhance the effectiveness of core ORM tools and methodologies, including Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), operational loss data collection and analysis, and scenario analysis.</li><li>Contribute to the implementation and ongoing adherence to the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) requirements and other relevant ICT risk regulations.</li><li>Develop and test digital operational resilience strategies, including incident management, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans for critical ICT systems and services.</li><li>Proactively identify, analyze, and assess emerging operational risks stemming from new technologies (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Blockchain), innovative products, and evolving business models.</li><li>Integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations into the operational risk framework, assessing the impact of climate change, social issues, and governance failures on the bank's operations and reputation.</li><li>Act as a trusted advisor to our clients providing expert guidance on operational risk identification, control design, and mitigation strategies.</li></ul><ul><li></li></ul>What We’re Looking For:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.</li><li>Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM, CRISC) highly preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 3- 5 years of progressive experience in operational risk management within the banking or financial services industry, preferably in a consulting or advisory capacity.</li><li>Understanding and practical experience with banking regulations related to operational risk (e.g., Basel III, CRR/CRD, DORA).</li><li>Proven experience in designing, implementing, and assessing operational risk frameworks, including RCSAs, KRIs, and scenario analysis.</li><li>Strong analytical, presentation and report writing skills;</li><li>Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL); experience with GRC platforms and risk management software is a plus.</li><li>Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>The ability to work in a team and to tight deadlines and the flexibility in approach</li><li>High degree of professional skepticism, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing risks.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.</li></ul><ul><li></li></ul>What’s in it for You?At Grant Thornton Greece, we believe that great work deserves great rewards!
