junior qa engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both manual and automated test plans for our enterprise applications built with React (front-end) and Spring Boot (back-end). You will perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, leveraging tools like Selenium (Python-based) and Locust to ensure optimal system performance and user experience.

This is a hands-on, cross-functional role requiring strong collaboration with developers, project managers, and business analysts. A sharp eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and a passion for quality are essential to driving continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on React/Spring Boot applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium (Python-based) for UI testing.
• Create and execute performance/load testing scenarios using Locust or equivalent tools.
• Collaborate with developers, projects managers, and business analysts to understand application requirements and user stories.
• Maintain QA environments and ensure data integrity for testing purposes.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, issues, and enhancements using issue tracking tools like JIRA.
• Promote testability, quality, and process improvements across the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze and report of automated and manual test results.
