financial transformation manager

The key responsibilities of the Financial Transformation Manager will include:

• Lead insightful workshops for understanding of Finance Processes for Finance Transformation assessments
• Assess business needs and recommend improvement opportunities in Finance processes affecting Business Operating Cycles adopting emerging technologies for an end-to-end optimization
• Cooperate with client’s Finance Team to optimize processes, structure for a better level of contribution to the business
• Provide guidelines to design management Dashboards including a set of KPIs, understanding CFO’s needs and agenda topics for instant and useful information
• Provide experience to design chart of accounts design and hierarchies in Financial Statements line items
• Participate in the design of costing models including cost pools, principles, rules of allocating expenses and management reporting presentation for results
• Design the controlling framework, including financial planning and analytics (FP&A) and budgeting,
• Guide team to compile, analyze, and report economic and industry data to help clients make informed decisions
• Prepare detailed presentations and marketing material for client presentations
• Consist a leading member of the team for problem solving, regarding business issues including strategy, innovative solutions, digital technologies
• Coaching team members for a smooth collaboration and team development
• Embrace the role of a coachable team player open to continued education and training from other team members
• Manage own and team work against project plan to ensure a superior client experience

To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):

• Minimum 4+ years of relevant professional experience
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field/ discipline providing experience in :
• Finance processes analysis and reengineering
• Accounting and costing principles
• Auditing background with a business understanding and acumen
• IFRS standards implementation
• Financial Statements understanding and management reporting requirements
• Cash flow and working capital requirements
• Costing principles
• ACCA/ACA qualifications courses or ΙΕΣΟΕΛ / ΜΕΤΚΕΛ postgraduate qualifications (in progress or completed) will be considered as an asset
• Knowledge in Finance systems (ERPs or BI tools)
• Commitment to providing quality work and building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
• Experience of working with multiple clients
• Working in teams of qualified and highly motivated professionals
• Effective communication and rapport building skills
• Excellent analysis and data reporting skills
• A good coaching and mentoring skills for younger team members
