financial services risk consultant

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Supporting regulatory exercises focusing on financial risk services (asset Quality Review, On-Site inspection, Stress Tests etc.)
• Performing daily data analysis and management
• Contributing to reports, recommendations and conclusions
• Performing tasks related to key documentation and deliverables based on IFRS & Regulatory policies and procedures
• Programming skills for the purpose of statistical sampling of credit files, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), in particular IFRS 9, Fair Value Exposures Review, Knowledge of EU Prudential Regulation (e.g. CRR, CRD IV and EBA Guidelines)

The key requirements of this role are:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance/ Business Administration/Economics or relevant field
• A Master’s degree in Finance/ Banking/ Risk Management will be considered as an asset;
• A professional qualification or part qualification (ACCA, CFA or FRM) will be considered as an asset;
• Strong analytical, presentation and report writing skills;
• The ability to work in a team and to tight deadlines and the flexibility in approach;
• The ability to communicate in English and to be an experienced user of MS Office;
• A 2 to 4-year experienced in relevant professional experience, preferably in financial analysis, financial modelling of an audit/consulting firm.
