Grant Thornton’s Outsourcing Services practice is continuously growing, offering high quality services to our clients, committed to “making a difference every day” and is currently seeking to employ a Financial Accountant for a corporate client.

The role in more details:

• Participating in all accounting functions and month-end closing processes in collaboration with the company’s statutory accountants

• Recording financial transactions in SAP and ensuring reconciliation with statutory accounts and intercompany balances

• Overseeing tax filings and other statutory submissions in cooperation with outsourced tax consultants

• Managing the local company’s cash flow, ensuring timely collections and vendor payments

• Handling intercompany invoicing and facilitating smooth cash flow processes

• Supporting the controlling processes of group subsidiaries and assisting with monthly group invoicing

• Participating in the preparation of financial statements and supporting the audit process through the preparation of reports and deliverables

• Assisting in special (ad hoc) projects as assigned and providing actionable insights

• Coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with required procedures

• Performing other duties as assigned by the manager

To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):

• University degree in Finance & Accounting

• Proficiency in both Greek & English language (written & oral)

• SAP/SRM, other tools

• 2-3 years of experience working in a similar role

• Strong Organizational, multitasking and analytical skills

• Critical thinking, time management, prioritization
