chapter lead – project management office (pmo)

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chapter Lead – Project Management Office (PMO) to lead and grow our Project Management community within the Technology function. This role is pivotal in shaping, implementing, and continuously improving the delivery governance model of the organization — ensuring that projects across all Technology Tribes and Business Enablement Units are delivered predictably, efficiently, and with measurable business value.

The ideal candidate combines deep program and portfolio management expertise with modern agile leadership, acting as both a coach and governance lead for Project Managers and cross-functional delivery teams. You will be responsible for driving consistency, visibility, and delivery maturity across all technology initiatives, while fostering a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Governance & Frameworks
  

  • Define and maintain the organization’s Project Delivery Framework, methodology, and templates (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

  • Establish and evolve delivery governance standards, approval gates, and reporting mechanisms.

  • Ensure consistent project performance tracking across all Technology portfolios.

  Portfolio Management
  

  • Oversee the end-to-end technology project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.

  • Lead project prioritization, capacity planning, and risk assessment in coordination with the Head of Technology and Partners.

  • Maintain dashboards for visibility on milestones, KPIs, and resource utilization.

  Leadership & Capability Development
  

  • Lead and mentor the Project Management community (PM Chapter), fostering collaboration, agility, and knowledge sharing.

  • Drive maturity of delivery practices through playbooks, retrospectives, and capability uplift programs.

  • Partner with the Knowledge & Capability Office for continuous PM training and certification.

  Agile Enablement
  

  • Promote Agile-at-Scale practices across tribes and squads.

  • Collaborate with Business Enablers and Chapter Leads to ensure delivery rhythm aligns with sprint cadences and product backlogs.

  • Balance delivery predictability with agility and innovation.

  Cross-functional Collaboration
  

  • Work closely with the Technology Delivery Office, Engineering, AI Center of Excellence, and Business Enablement units to ensure coherent execution.

  • Interface with the Quality Center and Architecture Guild for delivery readiness and governance assurance.

To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):

• Experience
  

  • 12+ years of total professional experience in Project / Program Management, ideally within large-scale Technology or Consulting environments.

  • 5+ years in a PMO leadership or Delivery Governance role.

  • Proven experience in managing multi-domain portfolios (Digital, AI, Engineering, Automation, CX, Security).

  • Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and hybrid delivery models.

  • Prior experience working with cross-functional or matrix structures.

  Education & Certifications
  

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business.

  • PMP® / PRINCE2® / PMI-ACP® or equivalent certification required.

  • AgilePM®, SAFe® Agilist, or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

  Skills & Attributes
  

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication capabilities.

  • High data literacy; comfortable with dashboards and KPI-driven management.

  • Proficiency with delivery tools (Jira, MS Project, Power BI).

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
