About the job
We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant/Associate Auditor to join our Audit team in Ioannina. In this role, you’ll work closely with dynamic professionals and clients from diverse industries. You’ll be involved in audit engagements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and value delivery through high-quality auditing services.
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
Supporting the delivery of audit assignments for clients across different industries
Assisting with audit testing procedures and documenting findings under guidance
Participating in the assessment of business risks and internal control frameworks
Contributing to the preparation of financial statements in line with Greek GAAP and IFRS
Helping with audit planning, fieldwork execution, and completion activities
Communicating with clients to gather information and clarify audit-related matters
Maintaining accurate audit files and ensuring proper documentation standards
Adhering to professional, ethical, and regulatory auditing requirements
Learning and applying audit tools, methodologies, and digital solutions
Collaborating with team members to ensure timely and high-quality audit delivery
The key requirements of this role are:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline
Up to 3 years of relevant audit experience or internship exposure
Working towards or intending to pursue a professional qualification (ACA / ACCA)
Master’s degree in a relevant field considered an advantage
Demonstrating a strong willingness to learn and develop professionally
Being able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and meet deadlines
Communicating confidently in both Greek and English
Using MS Office applications competently
Having fulfilled military service obligations, where applicable
