What you'll do
- Design and analyze marine electrical systems
- Program PLC and SCADA systems using Codesys and DCS environments
- Design redundant electrical and automation systems
- Prepare electrical material take off lists
- Integrate automation systems on vessels and yachts
- Prepare system documentation
- Manage projects including scheduling and client interaction
- Conduct site visits to client offices and ships
- Apply marine electrical safety practices and procedures
Key requirements
- Automation Programming with Codesys, Ladder, STL, FBD, Schneider Electric platforms
- Programming in Codesys and DCS environments
- Marine electrical systems design and analysis
- Project management and scheduling skills
- Preparation of electrical material take off and system documentation
- Knowledge of classification rules, marine safety, statutory regulations, and technical codes
- Good communication with technical managers, superintendents, ship captains, chief engineers, and crew
- Ability to work well under pressure and adopt risk management practices
- Team player with good interpersonal, organization, and time management skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel overseas
- Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Marine Electrical Engineeringpreferred
