What you'll do
- Design and analyze marine electrical systems
- Program using Codesys and DCS environments
- Design redundant systems
- Prepare electrical material take offs
- Integrate automation for vessels and yachts
- Prepare system documentation
- Manage projects including scheduling and client interaction
- Conduct site visits to client offices and ships
- Adhere to marine electrical safety practices and procedures
Key requirements
- Automation Programming including Codesys and Schneider Electric Platforms
- PLC Systems Programming and DCS Environment Programming
- Electrical Systems Design and Analysis with redundant system design
- Project Management and scheduling skills
- Marine Electrical Safety Practices and knowledge of classification rules and statutory regulations
- Preparation of Electrical Material Take Off and System Documentation
- Good Communication Skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Electrical and Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Marine Electrical Engineeringpreferred
