What you'll do
- Design end-to-end Java back-end solution architectures aligning with business goals and technical constraints
- Create detailed architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and technical documentation
- Define technology stack, architectural patterns, and integration methods per solution
- Ensure compliance with Enterprise Architecture guidelines, security policies, and standards
- Collaborate with architects to maintain architectural consistency across systems
- Participate in architecture review boards and technical decision forums
- Validate solutions meet functional, non-functional, and performance requirements
- Monitor implementation to ensure alignment with architectural specifications
- Review code quality and promote best practices and design patterns
- Provide guidance and technical support during design and implementation
- Assist teams resolving complex technical and integration challenges
- Mentor team members and foster knowledge sharing
- Support optimization of system performance, scalability, and resilience
- Contribute to root cause analysis and architectural improvements
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams on environments, pipelines, and deployments
- Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and teams to ensure technical feasibility
- Participate in solution planning, effort estimation, and technical refinement
- Ensure seamless integration across systems, services, and platforms
Key requirements
- 7+ years' experience
- Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud expertise
- Microservices Architecture and RESTful API design
- Relational and NoSQL database management
- Messaging platforms knowledge (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes
- Security architecture and authentication/authorization models
- Performance optimization and scalability techniques
