What you'll do
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and company standards
- Store, label, and organize food items properly
- Monitor food and kitchen supply inventory levels
- Collaborate with the culinary team on new menu items and concepts
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Follow sanitation procedures and safety standards
- Support the training and development of junior kitchen staff
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Cooking techniques and food ingredients
- Recipe adherence and food quality control
- Food storage and labeling
- Inventory management
- Menu development
- Kitchen organization, multitasking, and efficient work
- Food safety and sanitation, sanitation procedures, and kitchen safety standards
- Staff training and hotel or restaurant cooking
