What you'll do
- Follow hotel policies for fire, hygiene, health and safety.
- Attend scheduled staff meetings, departmental training and related activities.
- Complete reasonable tasks and secondary duties assigned by Engineering management.
- Handle confidential matters with tact and discretion.
- Inspect all MEP rooms daily in person and through BMS.
- Record plant-room machinery condition and operation in maintenance logs.
- Maintain and repair hotel mechanical systems, parts, machinery and infrastructure.
- Keep plant rooms clean and safe.
- Maintain accurate logs of Engineering work performed across departments.
- Respond promptly to emergencies such as fires and power failures.
Key requirements
- Mechanical maintenance, mechanical systems and mechanical equipment.
- Mechanical machinery maintenance and MEP room inspection, including BMS.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Emergency response and maintenance requests.
- Maintenance records and organisational skills.
- Health and safety compliance, operational safety standards and confidentiality.
