What you'll do
- Prepare and supervise pastry items and desserts according to set standards and recipes
- Participate in preparation and execution of tasting menus with precision and quality
- Support development and execution of new pastry creations and menu items
- Supervise and support pastry colleagues promoting teamwork and motivation
- Manage time effectively to ensure efficient production and quality
- Handle, store, prepare, and use ingredients correctly to maintain quality and minimize waste
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry kitchen and equipment following hygiene standards
- Support production of special occasion cakes and decorative pastry creations
- Apply advanced pastry techniques including laminated dough, chocolate, sugar, and decorative methods
- Ensure maintenance and cleaning of pastry equipment and workstations
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to coordinate pastry offerings
Key requirements
- Expertise in Pastry Production and Advanced Pastry Techniques
- Skills in Team Leadership and Collaboration within culinary teams
- Strong Time Management and Recipe Execution abilities
- Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Safety standards in pastry operations
- Proficiency in Pastry Kitchen Maintenance and Ingredient Handling
- Excellent English Language Proficiency
