What you'll do
- Solicit and book catering business from various leads and market segments
- Maintain organized follow-up on sales activities using DELPHI
- Coordinate with Catering team to maximize event space utilization and revenue
- Conduct site inspections and tours for planners and clients
- Negotiate contracts to maximize revenue and profitability
- Prepare and manage Event Profit & Loss statements
- Represent hotel professionally in client interactions and industry events
- Finalize bookings and upsell strategically to increase revenue
- Inform Director of Catering about sales issues and opportunities
- Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and event success
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance
- Support sales initiatives to boost catering activity, volume, and profit
- Contribute to achieving departmental and overall revenue goals
Key requirements
- Catering Sales and Event Profit & Loss Management
- Key Account Management and Negotiation skills
- Client Relationship Management abilities
- Experience with Sales CRM Systems such as DELPHI and OPERA
- Organizational and Communication Skills
- Market Trend Analysis and Sales Performance Management
- sales / marketing / hospitality / related fieldpreferred
