What you'll do
- Assist in describing and presenting menu items to guests
- Communicate guest orders and special requests to the kitchen
- Assist with table setup, breakdown, and maintenance of buffets and service areas
- Retrieve and stock linen, china, silver, glassware, and supplies
- Serve appetizers, coffee, tea, bread, and butter according to standards
- Provide unobtrusive and professional service during high-volume periods
- Collaborate with stewarding, culinary, and housekeeping teams
- Operate tea and coffee equipment
- Assist with in-room dining and other hotel outlets
- Maintain safety and hygiene protocols and respond to emergencies
- Assist with clearing tables, food running, mise-en-place, polishing equipment, and cleaning service areas

- Food and beverage service experience
- Guest communication skills
