What you'll do
- Describe and present menu items, including food and beverage, to guests knowledgeably
- Communicate guest orders and special requests to kitchen and coordinate delivery
- Assist with table setup, breakdown, and maintenance of buffets and service areas
- Retrieve and stock linen, china, silver, glassware, and food and beverage supplies
- Serve appetizers, coffee, tea, bread, and butter following service standards
- Provide professional and unobtrusive service during high-volume periods
- Collaborate with stewarding, culinary, and housekeeping teams for seamless service
- Operate tea and coffee equipment and assist with in-room dining and other outlets
- Maintain safety and hygiene protocols and respond to safety situations
- Assist colleagues with clearing tables, food running, mise-en-place, polishing, and cleaning service areas
Key requirements
- Food and beverage service and operating tea/coffee equipment
- English fluency with interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and food handling and sanitation
