Key responsibility areas

Daily processing of incoming invoices, bank transactions and credit notes

Daily processing of incoming invoices, bank transactions and credit notes as well as booking and checking all booked invoices and bank transactions, with the aim of guaranteeing a correct processing of these documents.

Prepare payment proposals

Prepare payment proposals according to the internal regulations and within the agreed timeframes with the aim of managing the organisation’s cash flow in the best possible manner.

Contribute to the elaboration and processing of the balance sheets and financial overviews

Contribute to the elaboration and processing of the balance sheets and financial overviews with the aim of complying with accounting legislation and providing the Finance Supervisor and/or Business Controller with the right data.

Contribute to tasks with regards to legal duties

Contribute to tasks with regards to legal duties (drawing up VAT declarations, intrastat, etc.) and draw up reports, together with the Finance Supervisor and/or Business Controller, with the aim of supporting the Finance Supervisor and/or Finance Controller and complying with the Group Reporting (IFRS) and legal accounting and tax rules.

Make proposals for the optimisation of the accounting processes

Make proposals for the optimisation of the accounting processes with the aim of guaranteeing the efficient operation of the department.

Continuously inform oneself about the latest trends

Continuously inform oneself about the latest trends and developments in Accounting and keep one’s knowledge up to date in function of changes in regulation with the aim of consolidating one’s credibility, by offering a service which is continuously based on up-to-date knowledge.

You possess the following qualifications, background and abilities:

Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting with at least 3 years of equivalent applicable work experience.

Advanced knowledge of English

Experienced and comfortable using computers and software programs, must be comfortable with Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Solution-oriented thinking

Internet Skill in establishing priorities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to learn and support new concepts and applications

Flexible, persuasive, result-driven and problem solving personality
