What you'll do
- Manage the spa’s day-to-day operations
- Ensure the spa team follows hotel and company service standards
- Guide the team, encourage teamwork, and facilitate professional work processes
- Inspect treatment rooms and spa areas to ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and adequate supplies
- Maintain all spa areas in good condition
- Ensure a relaxing guest experience aligned with hotel standards
- Prioritize guest and employee health and safety
- Prepare weekly employee duty schedules and staff duty charts
- Create the department training plan and deliver hands-on training to new recruits
- Motivate therapists to promote and sell spa services and retail products
- Handle customer issues, complaints, and special requirements
Key requirements
- Spa operations management and spa service standards
- Massage therapy, massage techniques, and anatomy and physiology
- Cosmetology or aesthetics, manicures and pedicures, and face and body therapies
- Team leadership, staff scheduling, and training delivery
- Customer service and complaint resolution
- Spa product and service sales and health and safety
