What you'll do
- Deliver food orders rapidly and accurately from the kitchen to guests’ tables
- Coordinate as the contact point between front-of-house and back-of-house staff
- Communicate orders, priorities and special requests to the Chef
- Assist with table setting by placing appropriate tableware, utensils and napkins
- Ensure food is served according to food safety standards and proper temperature
- Check in with customers, take additional orders and refill water as needed
- Clear dirty dishes and utensils
- Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items
Key requirements
- Food order delivery and restaurant service
- Customer service and front-of-house and back-of-house coordination
- English language and menu knowledge
- Food allergy awareness and food safety standards
- Table setting, order taking, and dish and utensil clearing
- Heavy tray carrying, multitasking, and fast-paced work
