Network & Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s network infrastructure and security systems. The role ensures the protection of corporate data through robust security policies, firewall management, and continuous monitoring of network environments. It also includes developing and applying Backup and Disaster Recovery strategies, as well as documenting technical procedures, configurations, and IT policies.
Main Responsibilities
Configuration, installation, and maintenance of neatwork systems and firewalls
Perform continuous monitoring, analysis, and response to network security alerts to ensure proactive threat detection and mitigation.
Design and implementation of security policies with focus on data protection
Design and implementation of Backup & Disaster Recovery policies
Documentation of processes and technical projects
Participate in infrastructure upgrade and optimization projects.
Collaborate with external vendors and service providers.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related field
Master's degree will be considered as a plus
Excellent command of the English language (C2 level)
Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates)
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies
Knowledge of network security issues and security systems; desirable certifications CEH, CISSP
Microsoft Azure (VMs, resource management, networking, monitoring)
Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, Intune – desirable).
Experience in security, policies, procedures, and documentation in pharmaceutical environments (ITIL, ISO 20000, COBIT, GAMP5, GxP, CSV)
Knowledge of Windows Server/Desktop OS
Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
