What you'll do
- Manage inventory by recording all materials and products in the warehouse including quantities and expiration dates
- Ensure sufficient stock levels to meet hotel needs by monitoring consumption trends
- Organize new orders collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely product receipt
- Coordinate with hotel departments to record needs and distribute supplies accurately
- Receive new orders and distribute them to relevant departments ensuring accuracy
- Support urgent supply needs as they arise
- Collaborate with suppliers to maintain product quality and improve purchasing terms
- Oversee supplier contracts to ensure satisfactory payment, delivery, and quality terms
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, assigning tasks and providing training
- Ensure warehouse team maintains skills for efficient and safe inventory management
- Coordinate weekly work schedules with Human Resources department
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Inventory Management and Product Storage knowledge including receipt and distribution processes
- Supplier Management and contract control skills
- Leadership Skills to guide and develop a warehouse team
- Inventory Management Software familiarity
- Hygiene & Safety standards
- Analytical Thinking and Communication Skills for coordinating stock needs and team management
- English Proficiency
- Warehouse management / Logisticspreferred
