What you'll do
- Coordinate daily maintenance operations, preventive maintenance schedules, emergency repairs, and work orders
- Maintain mechanical systems and structural components in optimal working condition
- Oversee upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and outdoor spaces
- Recruit, train, schedule, and manage maintenance staff
- Conduct safety meetings and training on equipment use, emergencies, and workplace safety
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, health standards, and applicable regulations
- Conduct safety audits and inspections, addressing identified risks and deficiencies
- Maintain accurate inspection, maintenance, and compliance records
- Resolve guest maintenance concerns promptly and effectively
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve maintenance issues and support guest experiences
- Assess guest feedback to improve maintenance service quality
- Coordinate property improvement projects, including renovations, upgrades, and installations
- Source vendors, set project timelines, and manage project budgets
- Prioritize improvement projects with hotel management to enhance guest satisfaction and property value
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- Maintenance operations management, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and infrastructure maintenance
- Facilities management and mechanical systems
- Team leadership and management
- Health and safety regulations; safety audits and inspections
- Budget management, project coordination, and vendor management
- Maintenance records management, problem-solving, and English language
- Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineeringpreferred
