The Front Office Supervisor at Domes Resorts is responsible for supporting the Front Office Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the front office, ensuring smooth guest check-ins and check-outs, supporting team members, to provide exceptional guest services. The role requires leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Some of the responsibilities you will be entrusted with:
Supervise and ensure efficient guest check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests at the reception area.
Assist in the hiring, training, and mentoring of front office staff, including receptionists, concierge, and bell staff.
Schedule and manage staffing to ensure proper coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and coaching when necessary.
Support daily front office operations, including reservations, room inventory management, cashiering and VIP arrivals.
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure timely room readiness and address guest requests.
Monitor and manage the front desk budget and supplies.
Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols for both guests and staff.
Liaise with other hotel departments (e.g., housekeeping, food & beverage) to ensure seamless service delivery.
Communicate important guest information, preferences, and feedback to the relevant teams.
Maintain a detailed log of guest interactions, issues, and resolutions for future reference.
Requirements
Useful to have:
Degree/ Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
At least 2-3 years of experience in front office operations, with previous supervisory or management experience in a Luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
Knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS), such as Opera is preferred.
Knowledge of the English language, a second language will be considered a plus.
