What you'll do
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival and departure
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
- Provide information and respond to inquiries about hotel services and facilities
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and timely
- Process room reservations, cancellations, and modifications
- Assign rooms based on guest preferences and availability
- Upsell room upgrades and additional services to maximize revenue
- Promote hotel facilities such as restaurants, bars, and spa
- Manage billing processes including payment collection and invoicing
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails professionally
- Coordinate with other departments for seamless guest service
- Maintain knowledge of hotel offerings and local area to inform guests
- Keep front desk area clean and organized
- Update guest records in the property management system (Opera)
- Prepare daily reports on room occupancy and operational metrics
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by addressing feedback and maintaining professionalism
Key requirements
- Guest Services including check-in and check-out procedures
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of Property Management System (Opera) and billing
- Room reservations, assignments and upselling techniques
- Respect for diversity and inclusion
