What you'll do
- Analyze sales trends and customer feedback to identify popular products and improvement areas
- Deliver personalized customer service, welcome guests, anticipate needs, and handle inquiries and comments
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
- Apply responsible alcohol service practices and manage intoxicated guests
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and report shortages
- Open and close the bar, including cash handling and reconciliation
- Rotate and organize stock to prevent spoilage and use supplies efficiently
- Count inventory, manage waste, and help control costs
- Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and safety protocols
- Maintain bar cleanliness and ensure the safe use of tools and equipment
- Collaborate with kitchen and F&B staff to support smooth service
- Train new staff in beverage preparation and customer service practices
- Communicate with the bar team and other departments to address guest and operational needs
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Beverage preparation and mixology; Bar operations; Service execution
- Customer service; Complaint resolution; English language
- Alcohol service compliance; Health and safety regulations; Food safety
- Inventory management; Stock rotation; Sales trend analysis
- Cash handling and reconciliation; Computer systems
- Staff training
