What you'll do
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Provide exceptional customer service and engage with guests to enhance their experience
- Greet and welcome guests promptly and engage in friendly conversation
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels
- Follow opening and closing bar procedures including cash handling and reconciliation
- Adhere to proper stock rotation and organization to prevent spoilage
- Assist with regular inventory counts to manage stock levels and control costs
- Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service and manage intoxicated guests
- Maintain bar cleanliness and follow safety and hygiene protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen and F&B staff for smooth operations
- Assist in training new staff on beverage preparation and customer service
- Maintain clear communication with bar team and other departments
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Customer Service and Communication skills
- Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including mixology
- Health & Safety regulations compliance
- Cash handling and Inventory management including stock rotation
- Responsible alcohol service and handling intoxicated guests
- English language proficiency and Computer systems familiarity
- Training new staff and Opening and closing bar procedures
- Bar cleanliness
