Your role as a Senior Consultant will focus on the execution of financial due diligence engagements, i.e. performing and presenting analyses on the financial and business performance of a company, including analysis of adjusted earnings (Quality of Earnings), adjusted net debt and working capital and understanding of other potential deal / value drivers, within the context of a potential extraordinary transaction, supporting buyers and sellers in assessing their related risks and opportunities.

You will focus on the delivery of client engagements, by understanding objectives for clients and Deloitte, aligning your own work to objectives and setting personal priorities, teaming with others across businesses and borders and taking accountability for own and team results. In this role, you will build relationships and exercise your communication skills in order to positively influence your peers and other stakeholders. You will commit to personal learning and development by actively seeking opportunities for growth, you will share knowledge and experience with others, and act as a strong brand ambassador, embracing our purpose and values in order to put these into practice in your professional life.

During your tenure as a Senior Consultant you will demonstrate and develop the ability to:

• Select appropriate methods for collecting and analyzing large and complex data sets to extract insights and support solutions.

• Build an understanding of how stages of the M&A lifecycle operate to enhance delivery in own phase of expertise.

• Produce a high quality work product and collaborate with others across phases of the M&A transaction lifecycle to deliver a superior client experience.

• Analyze financial and accounting information when evaluating transactions.

• Manage own work in an ethical manner with a continuous attention to quality and risk rules, and confidentiality.

• Help the team determine attractiveness/readiness of a proposed deal by identifying pre-deal transaction benefits/risks.

• Drive sound financial decision making throughout the transaction through diligence.

#YourProfile

Must-have qualifications

• University Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in transaction services & financial due diligence services and / or audit and assurance services, preferably within a Big 4 environment or another international advisory firm.

• Relevant experience in Financial Due Diligence Services, Vendor Financial Due Diligence Services.

• Understanding of transactions and awareness of price adjustment mechanisms.

• Strong presentation and communication skills.

• Excellent command of the English.

• Strong report writing skills.

• Analytical thinking and problem solving skills.

• Excellent MS Office knowledge (mainly focused on MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).

• Ability to operate in high performing teams and manage multiple priorities and projects.

• Completed (or nearly completed) professional certifications, such as Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or similar will be considered an asset.
