As a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s Risk / Internal Controls / Internal Audit practice, you will work with our wider team in Switzerland, to provide our clients with specialized risk management and internal audit services, aiming to maximize efficiencies, ensure regulatory compliance and minimize business risks.

What our Internal Control professionals do on a daily basis?

Internal Control Professionals advise organizations on how to effectively mitigate financial and non-financial risks and make informed and intelligent risk decisions. This includes helping clients in managing and preventing risks around their business processes, technology and operations, as well as designing and implementing internal control frameworks and technology solutions

More specifically your daily routine will require you to:

• Work closely with colleagues from Switzerland and multiple international teams.

• Engage in virtual meetings to gather and analyze risk and control information.

• Assist clients in identifying and assessing risks—both threats and opportunities—that may impact their strategic objectives.

• Evaluate policies, procedures, and organizational structures; conduct workshops and interviews to understand client processes and risks, and map processes through discussions with process owners.

• Implement and test controls to mitigate risks; identify deficiencies and develop action plans.

• Execute internal audit mandates, covering financial and operational processes and related IT tools; review and formalize audit documentation.

• Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems or related field).

• Good understanding of core business processes, associated risks and leading practice controls.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross functional projects.

• 3+ years in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or industry.

• Experience and ability in coordinating and training junior resources.

• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a virtual environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.

• Commitment to meeting business-critical deadlines.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

• Team player with a problem-solving approach.

• Ambition for professional development.

• Proactive and self-motivated.
