About the job
The role will become integral to the helping our people achieve digital success. You will proactively deliver bite-sized learning using outstanding blended learning experiences and creating innovative approaches to learning. You will support the training of new technology as the function develops, deliver new services and drive the adoption of tools to support our people. Additionally, you will support technical projects within the team and knowledge share.
As an avid tech enthusiast, your persuasive presentations skills will inspire digital curiosity and productivity. You will provide an accessible, bite-sized, point of need, personalised learning experience, driven by our people and that is in line with the firmwide technology strategy.
You will be a quick learner, led by self-discovery, developing as an SME with a combined knowledge of Deloitte's systems and best practices, with the end result of ensuring our people are digitally empowered. You will be proactive in thinking of learning solutions and improving workflow processes through the adoption of tools.
Responsibilities:
· Support our practitioners with their technology questions - this could be through delivery of ad-hoc sessions with individuals, groups, or scheduled firmwide drop-ins or through email queries. (sessions will be a mixture of virtual and in-person).
· Create learning sessions and supporting digital assets to support self-paced learning such as videos, QRGs or articles.
· Support the adoption of technology changes within the business, as well as playing a vital part in supporting the onboarding of new hires.
· Actively maintain knowledge of new developments within IT Training and application updates.
· Identify and implement where appropriate, innovative tools and technology which will support continual service improvement and quality within the team.
· Build relationships across the business and proactively market our sessions to keep end user technology knowledge up to date. This includes engaging with our people on our internal social media application.
· Engage with Learning Business Partners and Business Relationship Managers to identify and support business specific learning needs.
· Responsible for keeping PowerBi training reports up to date.
· Marketing of our services.
· Responsible for managing the training schedule and bookings using MS Bookings.
#OurRequirements
The ideal candidate will have:
· Experience training in the field of technology, with a “hands-off” approach, creating a safe environment to train, question and learn through well designed learning sessions.
· Experience of bite-sized, interactive virtual facilitation in the field of technology.
· Experience in creating digital learning assets such as professional quality presentations, activity packs and video tutorials.
· Strategically and commercially aware and can build strong client relationships with significant experience of working with demanding clients across a wide spectrum of size and activities.
· Knowledge of Generative AI
· Extensive knowledge of collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams including integrated tools such as Microsoft Whiteboard, Planner, Lists, One Note and Zoom.
· Extensive knowledge of the Office 365 suite (Excel, Outlook/PowerPoint/Teams/OD4B/SharePoint).
· Intermediate knowledge of analytics tools such as Power Bi and Tableau. Ability to create basic reports and dashboards.
· Excellent written/verbal communications skills, able to translate sometimes complex technical software/applications to users of all levels and create newsletters and guides.
