Our Cyber Strategy & Transformation team sits within Cyber and Technology & Transformation, one of the fastest growing practices in Deloitte.

We are seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join our Cyber Transformation Management team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining cybersecurity strategies, assessing cybersecurity posture, identifying and mitigating key cybersecurity risks for clients operating in the Financial Services Industry. You will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps tailored to client business needs.

• Supporting the development of security policies, controls, standards, and awareness programs.

• Advising clients on cyber risk management, governance models, and operating models.

• Producing accurate and timely reports to support internal stakeholders, regulatory requirements, and audit processes.

• Developing fraud management strategies and identify fraud prevention and detection controls.

• Defining business continuity solutions to proactively improve the operational resilience in case of adverse events.

• Analyze potentially fraudulent transactions to identify patterns, behaviors, and anomalies.

• Conduct root-cause analysis and deep dives into fraudulent events to uncover tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by fraudsters.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT security, compliance, customer service, and product teams) to enhance fraud prevention strategies.

• Continuously monitor fraud trends and emerging threats in the cybercrime ecosystem.

• Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of cybersecurity posture and fraud detection and prevention controls, ensuring visibility and alignment at both operational and executive levels.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Criminology or related fields.

• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to details and a proactive, risk-focused mindset.

• Clear and structured communication skills, with the ability to present results effectively to cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity fields.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements or international standards related to cybersecurity (e.g., DORA regulation, NIST CSF).

• Basic knowledge and/or understanding of Italian language.

• Experience with fraud prevention and detection platforms.
