We are currently searching for a Cloud Architect, in order to expand and strengthen our Strategy Risk & Transaction Advisory team in Thessaloniki. Our Professionals at Deloitte Alexander Competence Center (DACC) work with Deloitte Projects across North and South Europe, collaborate with top performing international teams and advise organizations on how to effectively mitigate risks and make informed and intelligent risk decisions to maximize opportunities. This includes helping them manage and prevent risks around their business processes, technology and operations, and often extends to the design and implementation of revised control frameworks and technology solutions.

#AboutYourRole 

• You will experience first-hand the backend of cutting-edge cloud solutions, leading the architectural approach to ensure robustness and scalability.

• You will work on and expand existing cloud infrastructure for an E2E application.

• You will develop and implement strategies to ensure a modular and fit-for-purpose cloud architecture that is easily maintainable, reusable, scalable, robust, resilient to edge cases, and follows cloud standardization best practices.

#OurRequirements 

Key Qualifications  

·             Education:  

o   A master’s degree in STEM or related field. 

·             Technical:  

• 5+ years of professional experience in cloud architecture (including micro-services) and software development.

• Expertise in cloud design patterns, principles, and architectural decisions for large-scale applications.

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Proficiency in version control systems like GIT.

• Experience with both Relational and Non-Relational Databases.

• Familiarity with DevOps, Unit-testing, and Asynchronous Programming practices.

• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices in cloud infrastructure.

• Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Familiarity with AI technologies is a plus.

o    You are fluent in English. 

o    Ability to clearly communicate technical matters and analytic approaches in a clear, precise, and actionable manner, and this to a range of stakeholders - from team members to business stakeholders – and confidently guide discussions around architecture and design.

o    You are a strong team player and show enthusiasm for supporting the development of others, but you can also work independently. 

o    You have an analytical mindset and can analyze complex problems and design comprehensive solutions.
