As an Automation Testing Professional, you will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites within robust testing frameworks. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software development and testing, with an emphasis on automation, performance, and scalability.

You will also gain exposure to emerging practices involving Generative AI tools that support test case generation, code scaffolding, test data creation, and faster script development.

During your tenure as Automation Testing Professional, your key responsibilities will involve:    

• Develop and maintain comprehensive automated test suites for functional, regression, and integration testing using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Tricentis Tosca.

• Embed automated tests into CI/CD workflows (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), ensuring consistent execution with each build and deployment.

• Write and maintain test scripts using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C#, contributing to framework enhancements.

• Use Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate test script prototyping, generate scenarios, and support exploratory code analysis.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to testing best practices.

• Investigate and resolve test failures, identify root causes, and contribute to robust long-term solutions.

• Continuously explore and assess new tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and recommend improvements.

Key Qualifications

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 2-5 years of experience in automated testing.

• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python and C#.

• Experience with automation tools (low-code or script-based) such as Tricentis Tosca, Katalon, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.

• Experience with Gherkin (BDD) for designing automated test cases.

• Familiarity with IDEs such as Visual Studio, IntelliJ, or VS Code.

• Experience with CI/CD Tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or similar. 

• Interest in using Generative AI tools to enhance productivity in test development and data generation.

• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and team collaboration abilities.

• An ISTQB certification (Foundation or Advanced level) will be considered a plus.

• Experience in Financial Services (Banking and/or Insurance), Energy, Telecommunications or relevant  sectors will be considered a plus. 

• Military obligations fulfilled, where applicable
