During your tenure as an AEM Product Engineer, you will demonstrate and develop your ability to:

·       Define and deliver solutions iteratively and collaboratively within AEM.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.

·       Exhibit a deep understanding of how AEM works technically and how business users interact with it.

·       Troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing support to end-users.

·       Coach other members of the team to up skill them with AEM knowledge.

·       Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint retrospectives.

·       Create and maintain technical documentation and user manuals.

·       Design and develop robust, scalable, high-performing, high-volume production applications used globally.

·       Review and recommend improvements to existing system designs and engineering processes.

·       Develop and share reusable assets that can be readily applied to new projects.

·       Challenge business requirements to ensure continuous delivery of the best possible outcome.

·       Harness innovation and drive adoption of new technologies to deliver business value.

Key Qualifications

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering / Science, Information Technology or related field.

• Master’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering / Science would be considered a plus.

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience.

• Strong knowledge of Java 8 and Adobe Experience Manager 6.x.

• Familiarity with Sling models and creation of JSON-based APIs using AEM.

• Ability to write valuable unit tests for AEM code and understand how to mock the Java Content Repository (JCR).

• Experience with Maven, Git, IntelliJ, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills in English.

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (Lambda, DynamoDB, Elastic Cache, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, CloudFront, CloudWatch, IAM, EC2, S3), ElasticSearch, React.js, and Single page applications (especially in the context of AEM), will be considered a plus.

• Experience using AEM as a headless CMS will be considered a plus.
