The role acts as a strategic partner to the Chief Information and Digital Officer of the Bank (CIDO), supporting the coordination, execution and effective governance of IT and Digital Banking initiatives and ensuring their alignment with the Bank’s business objectives. By combining technological expertise with business acumen and experience in complex banking environments, the role ensures that technology projects deliver business value and comply with banking regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Aligns all the projects implemented by the IT & Digital Banking Division with the already established strategy.
Ensures that the Division’s strategy is consistent with the relative total investment budget (CAPEX) and operating costs (OPEX).
Serves as the central coordinator for cross-functional matters and obligations related to operational risk, internal audit and compliance, as well as external audit and supervisory authorities.
Provides coordination regarding the accurate and timely preparation and delivery of content for internal committees.
Manages communication and fosters collaboration between the IT & Digital Banking Division and other business units of the Bank.
Collaborates closely with the Human Resources Division as the primary representative for IT & Digital Banking regarding staffing, organizational structure, talent development and capacity building.
Coordinates the Division’s presence across external communication channels in close cooperation with the Marketing unit.
Monitors and audits internal workflows within the Division’s units to simplify processes and promote collaboration.
Qualifications
University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or Economics.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
PC literacy specifically in MS Office applications.
Proven experience in project management and budget oversight.
At least 5 years of professional experience related to the position’s requirements.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Critical thinking and effective management of time and priorities with strong attention to detail.
Ability to synthesize information and data.
